In summary, five steps to follow [English translation]:
- In memory of [name of your loved one]
- a donation can be made to the [recipient] Fonds culturel national,
- [BIC (Swift)] BCEELULL
- [IBAN] LU24 0019 4655 0203 7000,
- with the notation “FëBLux 2020/017 donation [name of your loved one]”
TRIBUTE GIVING ♣ ♥ – in case of a special happy honorary occasion, like baptism, birthday, marriage, retirement, etc.
Please follow the same procedure as above, as for “Memorial giving”, by changing the beginning like this:
Wann een [dem/der NUMM] wëll bei dëser Occasioun eng Freed maachen, da kënnt Dir en Don maachen un de Fonds culturel national, BCEELULL LU24 0019 4655 0203 7000, mam Vermierk “FëBLux 2020/017 don [NUMM]”.
Please wait to get your tax receipt letter from the national cultural fund (French: Fonds culturel national / abbreviation: Focuna). One hundred percent of your charitable contribution goes to FëBLux and is fully tax-deductible.
Notice to family members
Focuna will report the names and addresses of memorial or tribute donors to FëBLux. The FëBLux secretary then will transfer the list to a designated family member or another contact person, should the family or someone else wish to send acknowledgements. The amount of the contribution in the person’s honor will be communicated to family members or special designated persons only.
Commemorative giving recognition
The names of the deceased persons are published on our website, column “Donor recognition” , and in our annual report.
N.B. There is another way to make a memorial gift: simply transfer your financial donation to one of the FëBLux banking accounts with the notation: “Don [name]”. But you will get no tax receipt!
